FOOTNOTE 1
The kitten identifier is anything that you want to use to distinguish one kitten from another in a litter.  We prefer a registered name but you may use "The Brown tabby non-poly" or "The Cream Poly" - or you could use a nickname.  We will assign a unique number for each kitten, but the identifier  will allow you to determine which kitten the database is referring to.

FOOTNOTE 2
 This entry is not required at birth, but if you desire to update your records in the future, you may submit this information later.  Examples would be sold to pet home, altered at age 6 months, sold for breeding or, retained for in-house breeding.  This is not required, but could be used to spot a numerical trend such as: "15% of male polys are sold as breeders, while 25% of the female are sold for breeding purposes".  This would be an example of how the numerical data could be used by researchers.
